Tonight we bring back some Juggalo scientist, discuss Where’s Waldo in the New 52, how Face/off lies on the Nick Cage chart, and how Jax from Mortal Kombat would be a great father.

My new Nicholas Cage Scale

We’ve been going through a myriad of new Kids At The House stuff. One of the things is my new ratings system, somewhat detailed.

The Wickerman: Balls to the wall insanity

Raising Arizona: Classic

Season of the Witch: Nobody gives a fuck, and it’s fun because of it

Ghost Rider 2: Josh and I have to see it.

Adaptation: Good film, I just don’t like watching it.

Kick Ass: Better than I thought it would be

Shadow of the Vampire: Why did they let this guy do this book

Face Off: Good old 90’s fun

National Treasure: Formulaic

Superman: Should never have been made.

But my highest rating will still be Matt Smith.

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

Issues in this week’s episode:

  • Batman inc. Leviathan Strikes! One shot

The Dark Knight Rises Prologue special Minisode

A quick Minisode covering the Dark Knight Rises Prologue. Directed by Christopher Nolan, and attached to IMAX film prints of Mission Impossible.

The Picture is the bane shirt they handed out at the screening. Here’s a bigger version:

CORRECTION: In the podcast I said the batman shirt is planks of wood, but it looks more like it’s drawn out in chalk.

Triple Header
The Kids at The House
yo mama loves our podcast
[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

In this episode we discuss three books! The books are Defenders #1: written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by Terry Dodson, X-Club #1:written by Simon Spurrier with art by Paul Davidson , and Red Lanterns issue #4:written by Peter Milligan and art by Ed Benes/Rob Hunter.

With so many good issues like Action Comics, Animal Man, and Swamp Thing, it was hard to find a bad book to look into…until we came across Red Lanterns. In the episode we go over the sleaziness of the entire group of defenders, how seductive atrocitus is in Red Lanterns, and how a rating system based around smacking booties may just be perfect.
